Mujii products are designed based on the philosophy of "Ma" (間), which emphasizes minimalism and the space between objects to create a sense of balance and tranquility. Aligned with this approach, Mujii's design language is called "Super Normal", where the product does not draw unnecessary attention and seamlessly integrates into its surroundings. Staying true to the company's spirit, I created a "Super Normal" product interaction, with the on/off function inspired by simple daily gestures, such as flipping a household light switch.
